Child & Youth Mental Health Clinicians

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will provide case management, clinical treatment and support for child and youth clients, their families and carers, including some with more complex needs using a range of psychotherapy treatment modalities in both individual, family and group settings in the community.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Provide evidence based, clinical intake assessments and interim treatment
- Clinically manage a case load of clients as the primary treating clinician within a multi-disciplinary team
- Prioritising and providing clinical care in a manner that meets needs and concerns of health services, individuals, couples, families and the wider community
- Consult, advise and assist the development, implementation and review of community consumer care plans
Essential experience, knowledge & skills:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Clinical Psychology or Social Work
- Extensive experience in mental health assessment and evidence based interventions
- High level experience in child and youth mental health services or able to demonstrate an aptitude for such work
- An understanding of and commitment to innovative models of mental health service delivery in rural and remote locations
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
- Current Driver's Licence
